In 1999, I wanted to buy a Fleischmann 4227.  It looks just like this diesel engine, but had just been discontinued.  Fortunately, I was in Germany that summer and found this 4801 which is actually "Deutsche Post / 500 Jahre Post" a limited series.  I belive it was offered by Fleischmann in 1990.

I took the picture with a digital camera.  It's always a mystery what it's going to decide to focus on!
